Meet Kimberley
My Journey and Vision
I'm Kimberley, the founder and driving force behind Small Steps, Bright Futures. I graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2007 with a double degree, a Bachelor of Human Movement, and a Bachelor of Secondary Teaching. My journey in the education sector began shortly after, focusing on teaching in the areas of PDHPE (Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education) and Support. Throughout my career, I have passionately taught students of diverse ages and abilities. My commitment to personalised education shines through in my collaborative efforts with students, families, and fellow educators. I have actively participated in developing and implementing individualised programs and accommodations to support students with varying needs. This dedication underpins my belief in tailoring education and learning to meet the unique requirements of each student I engage with.

Embracing Potential
My Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is rooted in a deep belief that every individual is whole and capable, each possessing the capacity to grow and advance at their own pace and in their own unique way.
Married with three children, aged between 13 and 8 years, all with different presentations of ADHD, I have firsthand experience with the challenges, strengths, and unique sparkle each person brings. My own recent ADHD diagnosis has given me a richer, more authentic perspective, helping me connect even more deeply with those I support. This personal experience, coupled with my roles as a Secondary Teacher, Sporting coach, and lifelong learner, ignited my passion for delving even deeper into the realms of ADHD and Autism.
This passion has evolved into a commitment to continuous learning and advocacy and a strong desire to help others discover their amazing strengths and embrace their neurodivergent identities, supporting them in living authentic and fulfilling lives.
Empowering Excellence
My Strengths and Expertise
In 2023, I embarked on a journey with the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA), a global leader and pioneer in ADHD Coach Training and Education. My goal is to provide support to individuals living with ADHD while offering education and support to them and their families.
As an experienced teacher, my vision is to extend my mission to the classroom. I aspire to offer professional development to fellow educators, aiming to broaden their understanding of ADHD and equip them with tools to better support their students with ADHD in their learning environments.
Through my personal and professional experiences, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those with ADHD. My approach centres on cultivating strong relationships that emphasise an individual's strengths, talents, passions, and interests, aiming for optimal outcomes for both clients and their families.
